As a teacher in Interiors (ICAR16) held workshops and courses at AIA Degree Course which wanted to direct students to the formation of a consciousness of space which would take into account the complexity of the parameters which make it up, giving particular emphasis to aspects of the control of light, measure and the sequence intended as the primary aspects of the design and understanding of space, as physical as logical, that precedes the formation of languages.
In the context of degree course of Architecture U.E. held the design workshops at 1st and 2nd year of teaching insisting on the development of knowledge and skills of basic control of space, and particular attention has been paid to the progressive acquisition of awareness of the projectual act as the complex product of cultural, technical, functional factors. Even in the narrow field of the subject residential usual for the first few years, teaching has been directed toward the development of the project such as building relationships and performance and, in particular, as a product of reasons or motives.
He currently holds the Design Laboratory III at Degree Course in Architecture EU cu in which students are encouraged to a complex and in-depth design on many levels simultaneously, both for the exterior and the interiors; the theme of a parish complex allows for reflection on the subject of integrated residential, communal spaces and the symbolic dimension of the space.
He was a lecturer at national and international workshops and master, he is invited to give lectures at various universities and regularly participates in international conferences.
Member of the teaching committe of the PhD in Theory and Project.
Head of agreements and protocols of international cooperation with Belarus and Montenegro.

Research Activities

The research focuses on two main areas:
1. Space and nature of the infrastructure of public mobility:
Coordinator of research funds for the period 2007-2009 on the subject of underground infrastructure and big interiors of mobility, developed in particular on the issues of quality of collective underground space and the interaction with the spaces of the existing and in particular historical city.
Member of the research group "Urban subsoils" 2012-13 aimed at analyzing and designing guidelines for the inclusion of new metro stations in the context of the archaeological center of Rome.
From 2013 on is head or member of research groups investigating on infrastructures and heritage, gaining the counseling for the musealization of the San Giovanni station of the Metro Line C in Rome.

2. Designing into the existing.
Head of the Research Laboratory for urban regeneration Re_Lab.
Promoter of collaboration protocol with the Scuola Grande di S. Rocco, Venice.

In connection with the issue of infrastructure and application to cases identified in the framework of international relations are being developed researches related to the role of infrastructure in urban regeneration of the capital city of Belarus and Podgorica in Montenegro.
In the same context are currently being studied the characters of the Soviet urban design and its problems related to the updating to the contemporary needs and conditions.
The progress of the research topics are the subject of constant attendance at international conferences.

Professionals activities

Co-founder of LP.studio since 1997. The professional activity is intended as an applied research on issues of infrastructure, of common spaces and facilities, of residence. The study regularly takes part in competitions receiving numerous awards and prizes. Among the most recent: Masterplan for the Waterfront in Volgograd, 2nd prize, Acilia Auditorium, 3rd prize, XIII Triennale of Architecture in Sofia, Silver Medal, Award for Urban Veneto Region "L. Piccinato". Particularly extensive is the expertise in sacred architecture thanks to the realization of complexes Parish of SS. Salvatore in Genzano di Roma and of S. Joseph at Albano Laziale, as well as the competition for the Church of St. Nicholas, Piacenza, 1st prize, il concorso nazionale ad inviti "Percorsi Diocesani CEI" for the parish complex S. Paolo VI a Forlì, 3rd prize.
