Si tratta del progetto Biosphere 2 che si costruisce ad Oracle nel deserto dell’Arizona da un gruppo che ha in John Allen l’ideatore principale (un geologo professionista che aveva intrapreso e realizzato una serie di progetti che combinavo studi ambientali, ingegneria ad architetture realizzate con sistemi eco sostenibili), in Edward Bass il principale finanziatore, nell’architetto Margaret Augustine e nell’ingegnere dei sistemi William Dempster alcuni dei coprotagonisti della impresa. .... as

 

... oltre un etttaro di superficie. Dentro questo ambiente vengono creati i sette biomi in equilibrio. L’esperimento consente di brevettare vari sistemi e tecnologie che portano al 100% di riciclo dell’acqua, dei resti umani e animali, alla autonoma generazione di cibo e a minime perdite di aria all’interno del grande ambiente chiuso. .... as

E Adesso entriamo dento l'idea vera e proppria degli anelli! Why rings? Well well for at least three orders of reasons.

First is geometrical / spatial. It is against the line .. From zero to infinity, against not only the rectilinear line which is an easy battle, but against the idea of the line per sè: If we work in systems we are against lines!

So the minimum circle is made up by three points.. which create what is a minimum geometric shape which as a lots and lots of virtues!

For example.. it is a rigid structure, it is the minumum plane.. so it allows to triangulate (mesh) whatever form, it has other beautiful geometric virtues in certain condition for examples all the sum of angles makes 180 degree eccetera. But in particular one is crucial

It creates a Loop. from first point you can arrive back to it makimg a path... let's see a ring!

This opens to the second conditions of the rings

Which is basically organicic. bacteries and other microroganism attach in lines but there is a moment in whcih the line closes it self to create a ring and then to extrude it in a third dimension to creat the first vertebrates...

In particular this idea brings to the idea of a system (related to the idea of the rings) to it is crucial there fore the idea that

there is no an Input Output

But an Input Outiut Input.. to creata system indeed.

This level brings very strongly the idea of loop in Information technology with many ideas of loop or rings not only in the prgramming phase ... ! but also in the area of design performance
